This 1970s sequin blouse feels especially relevant and modern. It is crafted from fine black sequins in a serpentine formation on a sheer net background. There is a built-in cropped chemise inside in a peach flesh tone. The sequins here are really high-quality and expensive looking— worlds apart from the cheaper sequins we often see used in modern eveningwear. I am absolutely obsessed with the high ruffled neck, as well as the peplum and voluminous sleeves, which taper towards the cuff. It closes with snaps down the back, and some strategically placed hook/eye closures.
