Vintage Design
This is a solid, handmade table used for serving or as a console table. The legs are a very unusual and more modern take on the characteristic Louis XIV style. Only in France would you have an extension to your table designed simply for cutting your bread.. yet here it is.. The table is really slightly too short to be a dining table unless you have relatively low chairs or no plus 5’5″ people in your family The drawers underneath the table fall a little low, so we are selling this as a serving or console table. This would be such a beautiful addition to a dining room or as a sideboard. In wonderful worn condition where the wear to the wood has mellowed and matured the colour.. rich stunning table. There is evidence of old woodworm, but these have departed long ago
