Murano Glass Bookends, Murano Label, Mid 20th Century

Pair of Murano glass bookends with partial original sticker remaining. Other stickers found on base of each piece. Olive colored glass with darkened base area. It’s hard to tell if these are a matched pair. The color is slightly different between the two as seen in the photos. In addition the texture to the glass is different on each side. One side is smoother than the other. When this pair is set up facing one another as bookends one has the smooth side facing forward and the other does not. This is not necessarily immediately detectable and of course the further they are from each other the less noticeable this is. We are not sure if they were manufactured this way intentionally or not, but felt it was necessary to point it out.

These are approximately 9″ tall, 6″ wide at the base, and 2″ deep. The weight is approximately 5 lbs. each.
