French commode in Louis XVI style of the Belle Epoque (1871-1914). The cabinet has a rectangular shape, shaped gray marble top that follows the profile of the cabinet. Front with three drawers, one in the band under the top with geometric inlays that simulate the cannellure with games of light and dark to give depth within reserves of mahogany on a background of rosewood, and two below joined without crossbar, with front tripartite with central part projecting that creates three panels with mirrors of rosewood within reserves of mahogany and fillets. Lesene side 45 ° terminating on leg truncated pyramidal with fillets and horizontal bois de rose with bronze tip truncated pyramidal. Band in rosewood arranged vertically. The sides essentially repeat the same pattern as the front panel. General structure of the cabinet mainly in poplar and interior of the drawers in oak all veneered in rosewood mahogany maple and other polychrome woods. Garnished with bronze rings and spouts of LXVI taste, key missing. The cabinet recently restored may have some imperfections and signs of wear due to use and age being an object not new.
