Charming Small Empire Bedside in Mahogany veneer all sides.
A Chic Carrara Marble, White Veined with Grey, decorates its Top.
This small piece of furniture has two openings in Mahogany Burl. On the belt, a Drawer, with a notch underneath to facilitate its opening. Further down, a small Door giving access to an interior lined with a fixed Shelf, of the same Marble. This door is equipped with a working lock and key, all original.
The front of this furniture is flanked on each side by two Cylindrical Columns in Mahogany Burl. Topped by a beautiful solid Mahogany Ball, they are embellished with finely chiseled Bronze elements, of which the one at the top is ringed with a wider Collar. At the front, in the continuation of the columns, the uprights rest on two small crushed feet, almost cylindrical, while at the “back” they are straight.
This Bedside table has benefited from a work of cabinet making of Quality, presenting Superb reflections of Mahogany. It will be noticed for the Elegance and the Finesse of its Ornaments. This Period item offers ideal dimensions and will naturally fit in a bedroom, next to its Middle Bed.
