Drops Sofa by Andre Teoman

Drops is a sofa inspired by the organic shapes of drops of water. It’s a modular sofa turned into a decorative one, trying to mix both worlds. You can organize it as you need, making it suitable for public spaces or any home.

André Teoman Studio began as a “one-man band” and is now run by André Teoman and Ana Rita Pires. They met while studying Product Design in their hometown of Viana do Castelo, Portugal. André Teoman Studio was founded three years after he completed his degree and began working with several luxury design furniture brands. Meanwhile, Ana Rita worked for textile and graphic design firms before joining the studio.
They quickly began collaborating with local artisans to make a difference in their hometown. This synergy is critical for the studio in order to create meaningful projects. Preserving such craftsmanship is a mission and a desire to combine the best craftsmanship with other great techniques that are being lost around the world. The pieces have a strong emotional bond with the concept that makes the user think twice.
