Antique Dutch Carved Folded Lined Wardrobe Armoire with Mirrored Doors, 1880s

We are delighted to offer this stunning antique hand carved oak, Dutch Armoire linen wardrobe with original plate glass mirrored doors This piece is part of a suite, I have the matching pair of bedroom chairs, a lovely double bed and pair of bedside tables listed under my other items A very well made and decorative Armoire, the great thing about this type of cupboard is that it was specially made to be totally dismantled, you have the base twin drawers, three panels two doors and the top, all held together by four bolts, its super easy to erect and it means you take easily take it up narrow staircases The mirrored doors are original with the period plate which has a little desirable foxing, they are thick and heavy. The carving is really exquisite and covers every single panel The condition is absolutely fantastic for the type and age, the timber has been deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished from top to bottom, there may be some age and use related patina marks here and there but mostly it’s in fine order Dimensions Height:- 227cm Width:- 136.5cm Depth:- 52.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, RH20 1DF.
