Vintage Design
Beautiful walnut sideboard, reminiscent of the creations of the Maison Leleu, a French establishment founded in 1882. This name really took off in the 1920s, with iconic furniture in the Art Deco style. As an example, this company was personally in charge of the private dining room of the Elysee Palace at the request of the President of the Republic Vincent Auriol (from 1959 to 1966).
This piece of furniture has a top with small mouldings.
It opens with three doors with large frames with Tab cuts. In the center of each door, there is a pattern of Arabesques and foliage in Mahogany, revealing a face on a background of burl cedar. These inlaid panels are underlined by a frame formed by protruding rods. Each door is equipped with a functional lock, a brass entrance and its key.
The interior of this piece of furniture is lined with five shelves in Light Ash with visible fields Ouvragés. They are placed on racks and therefore interchangeable and adjustable in height. Note that the central part of this Enfilade is equipped with an interior drawer of 11 cm deep.
The front posts of this sideboard are in solid Walnut with moldings.
The lower part is made up of a large, slightly cut-out crosspiece. The whole rests on four feet in Sabots, with Volutes for those of the front.
The back of this piece of furniture is a panel in Oak.
Essential precision, this Good is entirely Dismountable by a simple system of screw of recall, making it adaptable to difficult access.
This Sideboard presents a Perfect Quality of wood and Manufacture of Cabinet making, at the same time massive, plated and slatted, thus not allowing any crack. In addition to bringing with Finesse a great capacity of arrangement, this piece of furniture also constitutes a pledge of Reliability.
