Vintage Design
A superb quality 19th Century carved Gothic style armchair, recently upholstered in a grey fabric, the arched padded back with decorative carved frame with a figure head at the top, with typical carved Gothic columns either side, padded arms and bold carved and scrolled arms resting on the stuffover upholstered seat, the carved frame below incorporating carved Gothic style finials, supported on turned tapering feet terminating on castors. This chair is in excellent condition and has lovely crisp carving. Circa 1840.
