Vintage Design
Scandinavian modern sheepskin chairs attributed to Arne Norell, Sweden from the mid 20th century. The chairs have an asymmetrical back and legs in stained birch. The design is clean and classic with the asymmetry creating extra interest and a twist. The pair of chairs have the very characteristic look of a Scandinavian modern design combined with high quality craftsmanship. The sheepskin is a luxurious addition and the renovation was done by a member of Sweden’s Upholstery Masters (Sveriges Tapetserarmästare). They only accept very skilled craftsmen and so the quality of the work on these chairs is very high. The association celebrates its 100 year anniversary 2021 and they use their unique trademark base fabric in their work, complete with their logo. See it here underneath the seats.
