Iconic, these heels were designed by Tom Ford, the creative director of Gucci, for the S/S 1998 collection. The tiny/kitten heels feature a pointed toe made of satin and adorned with the Gucci “GG” pattern in brown & amber. A clear crystal “G” is also placed on the back of the right heel. Finished with a leather insole, the shoe is complete with a simple satin strap. In the “Modernist Style” shoot for Vogue Italia in 1998, captured by Steven Meisel, Eva Strus wore these heels. Alessandro Michele brought back this design for the Fall 2021 collection, solidifying its position as a highlight in Gucci’s history.
