Beautifully played Keyaki wood Go game board, complete with 碁石入れ (Goseki-ire) for storing the white and black stones.

The wooden boxes with lids contain 181 black stones and 180 white stones.

The Keyaki wood game board dates back to the 1940s and is still in very good condition.

The solid wood block is finished with stylishly designed legs.

Keyaki is a rare and highly popular wood species from Japan, hardly ever exported.

This set holds high decorative value and can, of course, still be used for playing, providing the ideal opportunity to experience a Japanese tradition in an authentic manner.
