Gusp or confit pot in vernissé – Terracotta – used formerly to keep meat in pork or duck fat. Made in the 19th century around 1800-1850, with yellow glaze on slip, beautiful drips and drops petrified on the edge of the opening. Perfect condition with the few classic defects of time without much consequence. These yellow pots are characteristic of the south – west of France and Provence. This comes from a Castelnaudary workshop and remains rare with these beautiful drips . This piece has an attribution mark,
