Treasured by many generations of owners for almost two hundred years, there is someting soulful about this pair of candle holders, with its understated smoky violet grey glass body and its rustic solid presence. Remarkably this piece fits right into today’s trendy decor compatible with colours and textures of concrete, drift wood, wrought iron etc. Bases have wheel marks that indicate they were smoothed off by hand, dates from circa 1830s to 1850s.
