Witch Mirror composed by definition of a Round and Convex Ice with a deforming effect.
The latter is part of a golden frame with an aged patina, molded around its edges. Half protruding balls arranged at regular intervals decorate the hollowed part.
This entourage is summoned by a Generous Fronton, dominated by an Eagle with outstretched wings. The bird of prey is camped on a Vase with a flared body, placed in the middle of leafy volutes. The lower part of this Mirror is also carved with motifs with rounded lines.
Note that the Gilding reveals discreet and subtle shades of Red, adding to the Personality of this Ornamental Object. In addition, its Domed Glass allows a diffusion of Light different from other more common models, and a more important angle of view. This is why – historical parenthesis – this Trendy accessory was once called ”Third Eye”, since it allowed bankers and merchants to keep an eye on their offices or stores.
