Vintage Design
Danish 1970s low rosewood and leather sofa and armchairs by Komfort of Randers Komfort of Randers were a small quality Danish maker who use various designers such as Arne Wahl Iversen in the 1960s and 1970’s . They are best known for their teak and rosewood framed sofas and chairs , of which this is their most distinctive design . It is labelled. The dark brown leather is in excellent vintage condition and the rosewood frames have a good grain and good strong colour . A nice simple minimalist design , it is a little lower than some Danish pieces . It is more reminiscent of an Italian design of the time than other more sculptural Danish pieces . The chairs are 79cms wide , 72cms deep and are only 50cms high . The seat height is around 34.5cms.
